The part most pages leave out
Skin with more melanin answers injury by making more pigment. Done well, a peel evens your tone. Done too deep, or on skin that was never assessed, it can leave a dark patch that is harder to treat than what you walked in with. That is not a reason to avoid peels. It is the reason we assess before we prescribe one.
A deeper peel is not a better peel. On melanin-rich skin the safest effective route is usually shallower and repeated, rather than deep and once.

What you use in the two weeks before and the eight weeks after matters as much as what we apply on the day. Sunscreen is not optional here. We send you home with the plan, not just the treatment.

What actually happens
Day of
Your skin feels taut and looks flushed, rather like mild sun. Makeup is off the table for the rest of the day and so is the gym.
Days 2 to 5
Flaky rather than dramatic, and worst around the nose and mouth. Do not pull it. Pulling it is how a peel turns into a mark that outlasts the peel.
Week 2
Brighter, more even, softer to touch. This is the part you paid for and it arrives quietly, usually while you have stopped checking.
The course
One peel is a refresh. A course is a change. The interval between them matters as much as the peel itself, which is why we plan them rather than sell them one at a time.
PRX-T33 peelPRX-T33 works in the deeper layers without the surface injury, so there is no visible flaking and no week of hiding. It is the most expensive peel we do, and for most people who choose it, the absence of downtime is the thing they are actually buying.

No. A peel evens your tone, it does not change it. We resurface so that pigmentation, marks and dullness fade and your own skin looks like itself on a good day. We do not lighten skin, we will not be persuaded to, and we will not pretend that bleaching is skincare. If lightening is what you are after, we are the wrong clinic.

That is the one question we will not answer over WhatsApp, because the wrong depth on the wrong skin does real damage. Most people start superficial. Medium-depth peels are for skin that has already handled a milder one, or for damage a mild peel will not reach. PRX-T33 is for anyone who cannot take a week of flaking. We prescribe it at the consultation.
With the superficial peel, lightly, for two or three days. With the medium-depth peels, visibly, for four to seven, and worst around the nose and mouth. With PRX-T33, not at all, which is exactly why it exists and part of why it costs the most. Whatever you have, do not pull the flaking. Pulling it is how a peel turns into a mark.
Two to three days for a superficial peel, four to seven for a medium one, and none for PRX-T33. Plan around it rather than hoping. If you have an event in five days, tell us at the consultation and we will either move the peel or give you the one that does not show.
Most skin needs a course rather than a single peel, and six is the usual number. Pigmentation and melasma in particular fade across cycles rather than appointments. The interval between peels matters as much as the peel, which is why we plan the whole course at the start instead of selling you one and waiting.
Sometimes, and sometimes not. Mild congestion often responds well. Inflamed, painful or cystic acne does not, and peeling inflamed skin is one of the fastest ways to cause the pigmentation you were trying to treat. If that is what you have, we will send you to a dermatologist and treat you afterwards.
It is biorevitalisation rather than a traditional peel. It stimulates repair in the deeper layers without the surface injury that causes visible flaking, so you get the renewal without the week of hiding. It costs ₦165,000 because the product is expensive and because the thing most clients are actually buying is the absence of downtime.
Before: stop retinol and strong actives roughly a week ahead, and tell us everything you are using, including whatever you bought online. After: sunscreen every single day without exception, gentle cleansing, no scrubs, no picking, and no sun for as long as we tell you. On melanin-rich skin the aftercare is not advice, it is half the treatment.
