After surgery your body floods the area to protect it. That fluid has to go somewhere, and your lymphatic system is doing it alone, slowly, while under strain. We do it with it, and faster.

Post-operative massage may reduce the risk of fibrosis when it is properly timed.

And it may improve tissue mobility when fibrosis is caught early. It is care, not a cure. Anyone guaranteeing you will never develop it is lying to a frightened woman and charging her for it.

  • Week one

    Cleared, or sent home

    Drains, compression, the worst of the discomfort. We do nothing unless you have been cleared. If you come too early, we send you home.

  • Weeks two to three

    You quietly panic

    You look bigger than you did before surgery. This is normal. Drainage begins, and most clients feel dramatically lighter within two or three sessions.

  • Weeks three to eight

    The window

    The most important sessions of your recovery, and the ones women skip because they are finally starting to feel better.

  • Month three and after

    Your actual result

    Swelling settles and the shape you paid for emerges. Monitoring, maintenance, and the last of the fibrosis work.

Do not judge your result at week three. Do not photograph it. Do not panic and book a revision. Ring us instead, and we will tell you whether what you are feeling is fluid, fibrosis, or a body doing exactly what it should.

Two of these need your surgeon's clearance before we will touch you, and that is not us being difficult. Pressure in the wrong place at the wrong stage can disturb a result you have already paid a great deal for. The third you can book and pay for right now.

If your recovery is from birth rather than surgery, the Postpartum Package is built for that. From three weeks after delivery, once you have been cleared.

Before you book anybody

Plenty of people in Lagos call it lymphatic drainage. Very few are trained for a post-surgical body.

A post-surgical body is not a spa body. Pressure that is too firm, in the wrong place, at the wrong stage can bruise healing tissue, disturb a result that has not settled and push fluid where it should not go. There are people doing exactly that, in this city, this week.

You did not fly to Turkey and spend millions to hand your recovery to someone who learned this from Instagram.

We start straight away if

  • Your surgeon has cleared you, here or abroad
  • You have swelling, tightness or fluid you want moved
  • You can feel firm patches forming and want them caught early
  • You want the recovery done properly, not cheaply

We will send you elsewhere if

  • Your surgeon has not cleared you. We will not touch you, however much you ask.
  • You have a complication. Infection or a wound problem is your surgeon, today, not us.
